I know it sounds like the Mafia; sadly, it’s the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, more commonly known as the Mormons. One tragic example of the Church's abuse is Temple marriage, or Sealing, as it’s known in the church. You may be the child’s mother or father; however, if you are not a fully active Mormon participant, you will be unable to see your child get married! You can wait in a beautifully decorated waiting room provided for unworthy family relations and friends . . . But you can not participate in your own child’s special wedding day! Sad but true.
