The Disgusting Myth of Original Sin

There Is No Such Thing As Sin

There is no such thing as sin. People do ‘good’ and ‘bad’ things, but there is no such thing as sin.

Sin is a myth. The creation of the concept of original sin was a recruitment method to get you to join a religious group or organization and extort money, time, and obedience from you. Sam Harris notes, “Pretending to know things that you do not know is the lifeblood of religion.” That same pretense ensures the journey out of religion is difficult as no one wants to admit to themselves and others that they were wrong for so many years. Indeed, to leave is a sin. Oh yes, sin is a myth! Such a clever plan, even a clever plan over thousands of years. Designed to keep a few rich and powerful men in power over the vast majority of the world's population.

Religious leaders and believers going back thousands of years tell you that you have an imaginary problem. They had and still have the magical cure for your imaginary problem.

My favorite part of any religious text is when God gives everyone free will and then proceeds to drown everyone for not acting the way he wanted. Thankfully, the concept is fake, just as with Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and the Easter Bunny. The idea of sin is disgusting, abusive, and imaginary.

The fact that a human being has to tell you about the existence of a God and sin proves that there is no God or such thing as sin. Imaginary Gods, imaginary sin, and imaginary problems. Many people had imaginary friends when they were five years old but grew up.
