What is The Steve Approach?

Read, learn, and then DO MORE and LIVE MORE!

What is The Steve Approach . . . What is the new free website and blog all about . . . Why is it even called The Steve Approach?

Hey there! Let me tell you more about The Steve Approach website, which will go live on November 5th, 2024, along with the new blog. Have you, or are you, dealing with disease, disability, weight, and age challenges? Then read on.

I’ve been through some pretty tough times in my life. I’m talking about dealing with a life-long disability, being sexually abused as a kid, struggling with mental health issues, and even attempting suicide. It’s heavy stuff, but I never let anything keep me down for long.

Despite all the challenges, I’ve had some fantastic moments, like being a dad to three incredible daughters. They’ve been my rock and the reason I’m still kicking. I’ve worked at the university level as a lecturer and a researcher and then moved on to help out folks from all walks of life: addicts, refugees, ex-cons, people with mental health challenges, and many people who were going through their rough patches as a coach. I also spent many years as a child advocate for sexually abused kids and supported them as they endured the US legal system. And then I returned to the UK to marry my sweetheart.

More recently, I’ve been hit with even more curveballs, like heart problems, prostate cancer, and a rare type of stroke. But you know what? I’m not letting that stop me. And that’s where The Steve Approach comes in. It’s all about taking control of your mind and not letting your challenges define you. I believe that no matter what life throws your way, you can always do something to improve things, even if it’s just a tiny step in the right direction.

I share my story and his approach to life in the Steve Approach blog. I want to show people that change is possible, but you gotta take action. Just talking about it isn’t going to cut it. You have to make a choice and start moving, even if it’s at a snail’s pace.

So, why’s it called the Steve Approach? It’s my no-nonsense personal philosophy, and I’m putting it out there for others to learn. I’ve been through the wringer and come out the other side, and now I want to help others do the same. Disease, disability, weight, and age can challenge us; however, exercise and good nutrition can help improve our lives. I believe we all are capable of change. A short walk or one hour in the gym, no matter. Do More, Be More, and Live More!

In a nutshell, the blog and The Steve Approach are all about inspiring people to keep pushing forward, no matter what life throws their way. It’s a message of resilience, determination, and the power of the human spirit. And if you ask me, that’s a pretty awesome thing to spread around.

See You All In November!!
